You are going to start the preparation of your observation but you have no clue of what is our web-tool p2? We help you to familiarize with the basic concepts for a quick and efficient start. First, you should know that p2 is implemented using Google’s angular framework [https://angular.io]. Please check here for a complete list of supported browsers.

Now that you know the basic, you can experiment with p2demo. This is a demo version of p2 with demo runs for each instrument and examples of OB contained in "tutorial folders".  If you are dealing with the ESO Phase preparation for the first time or you are using a new instrument, we recommend to have a look at the tutorial observations.

Once you get familiar with p2 and you feel you are ready for preparing your observations, follow the p2 tutorial related to the instrument you have chosen and follow the instruction of the instrument User and Template manuals. All the necessary link are provided by our Instrument table.
